I agree there is a debate, but then: - Apple should make the IDFV opt-in (this identifier let app developers track their users across their own Apps - Google, Facebook and others shouldn't be able to cross user data across context when users say no to the ATT pop-up

@garjoh_canuck @RickDronkers But then, Google and Facebook shouldn’t be allowed to do personalized ads, crossing data across different 1st party context. That’s what they do with Search, YouTube, Maps, Facebook, Instagram, etc

@garjoh_canuck @RickDronkers Adtech can’t have it both ways: complaining that Apple is not doing enough regarding tracking and not looking at the much worse situation of the other players. If you consider Apple personalized ads as tracking (I do), yes ATT should apply

@CNIL Pour le proxy, il est toujours possible de passer par le Server-Side Tagging de Google Tag Manager, mais sans hébergement Google... Ce qui rend la configuration encore plus complexe, cf. developers.google.com/tag-platform/tag-manager/server-side/manual-setup-guide😵‍💫 43/
