@btsavage @swodinsky To consider Apple Personalized Ads as tracking, you would need to agree with the consequences. Without ATT opt-in: - no more IDFV - no more crossing data across different context at Facebook or Google
  29. …in reply to @btsavage
@btsavage @swodinsky Maybe your (good) arguments would have more strength if there was no double standard in the adtech industry? - why is IDFV not opt-in? - why are Google and Facebook allowed to cross user data across context when user say no to ATT? - why is Google pushing for FPS?

@FascinatingTech @garjoh_canuck @CMAgovUK @Apple If the adtech people cry so much about Apple Personalized Ads, why we don't hear them when Google & Facebook are doing far worse?
  47. …in reply to @FascinatingTech
@FascinatingTech @garjoh_canuck @CMAgovUK @Apple That's a shame, cause I am far more concerned by Google mixing user data across it's numerous services for multiple purposes, without any proper legal basis but dark patterns everywhere.

    - Google Chrome upcoming First-Party Sets should be opt-in (allows to share cookies between google search, maps, youtube, etc) - The Adtech Content Fortress strategy would be at risk mobiledevmemo.com/content-fortresses-and-the-new-privacy-landscape/ - Etc So maybe adtech should stop being hypocritical?
  49. …in reply to @pixeldetracking
Should Apple Personalized Ads be considered as "tracking"? The adtech people: yes of course, it's a serious abuse. Hence Apple should change its "tracking" definition and display the ATT tracking pop-up, instead of this more "positive" pop-up
