      @WolfieChristl Ok now I see the argument: Google could theoretically ask only the 1st permission to serve personalized ads (provided that they don’t profile users on those precise ads). But they ask for both permissions because they refuse to serve personalized ads without profiling users.

    @WolfieChristl One more thing is that unfortunately, the “personalized ads without profiling” option is a complicated one to verify: we must trust the adtech vendor (who will still get user identifier and serve personalized ads)
