          @dsearls I don't think Apple Ads work "on the device". AFAIK, there is no documentation on that (I think it's cloud based)

        @dsearls “Ask App Not To Track” is because unfortunately, they can't guarantee Apps won't try (and sometimes succeed) to circumvent this policy

      @dsearls Then it depends on how much Apple want to enforce this policy (cause they need to better review Apps)

    @dsearls And I actually think that by defaulting on showing those pop-ups, Apple is doing a lot to educate people about adtech surveillance
