      @vtoubiana @alexstamos @matthew_d_green @fabricedesre @benadida From what I read, they consider iBeacon to be more privacy-friendly than other BLE protocols (no explanations here). But iBeacon is already restricted in the foreground, so it wouldn't make sense to let BLE in general works in the background
